Rise & Shine
Saturday, April 24, 2010 - George R. Brown Convention Center
The seventh annual Rise & Shine Fun is on Saturday, April 24, 2010,
benefiting the Rise School of Houston, “Where Special Kids Shine.” The Rise
School, as an affiliate of Texas Children’s Hospital, provides the highest
level of early intervention to children with and without Down Syndrome and
other developmental delays. The children’s run/family walk will begin at 8
a.m., and the 5K run is at 8:30, for online information:

children, and general donations are always appreciated. The family festival
will be ongoing, 7-10:30 a.m., in Hall A of the George R. Brown Convention
Center. There will be live music, children’s booths, refreshments, a rock
wall, a giant slide, bouncy houses, face painting, and clowns. For more
